Few questions about my Coupe

I have a 03.5 Coupe and I had some questions about it.

1. I get a clang sound that comes from the front wheels when I come to a complete stop (shortly after I fully stop it makes a "clang" sound... not too loud though) has anyone ever heard of that?

2. Are the cigarette lighters supposed to turn off when the car turns off? I want to be able to charge my phone when the car is off.

3. How do I get the passenger side door to lock with the rest of the system when I hit the lock button on my remote. If I just press the lock button on the remote the passenger side door is still unlocked and can be opened but the alarm goes off. If I lock it by hand or by the lock button in the car I have to manually unlock it again when I press the unlock button on the remote.

Good question. Mine goes off too, i think its supposed to be that way, which sucks. The other questions, i have no answer for, and if i do, im sure someone else has the RIGHT answer, haha

1 - no idea about the clang - maybe something loose?? If your MT - maybe something with the clutch?

2 - They must turn off - it's a safety feature so the car doesn't burn up by mistake. Also, you don't want to leave a charging device on in your car when it's not running..you will kill the battery over time. I know a phone doesn't take that much power, but even when it is charged, it still pulls power.

3 - Go to the dealer. There are custom programming options out there - they have a list and it's around the forum somewhere too. There are about 15 different custom options to choose form.

#2 Some cars you can use the lighter/outlet, some you can't. My 4Runner isn't hot when turned off, my Grand Cherokee is. Not sure about the G--I just got it and haven't tried charging anything.

#2 I'm pretty sure all Japanese cars shut off like that, American cars don't.

Anyone tried the Cig/Accessory port in the arm rest to see if it turns off?
