Premium gas??

Thats assuming the difference is only 1%, I've seen number closer to 5% so you could lose as much as 15hp so save a whopping $100 a year.

I still use premium bro, i'm just tellin' the kid if he really wants to use plus, it's his perogative. If you put Plus in ur tank it doesn't decrease your HP, it just requires a little more out of your car to reach a certain point whether that be a certain speed/rpm/or certain "pull", but not by that much, i wish engineering worked out in perfect numbers like that. Premium and Plus only differs in levels of Toluene, nothing else really, thus with Plus u have lower toluene concentration so it takes more out of ur car (gas in particular) to reach that certain point. Hey i still use premium and if there isn't a difference between the price i say use premium, but to each his own.
I just used that BG44k stuff in my car @ 50K miles and I didn't see a difference in gas mileage. Maybe, I had no buildup?
Any how, gas is getting expensive. Instead of putting lower grade gasoline in my car, I would try to get the most out of the gasoline which goes in there. Such as injector cleaner, clean air filter, good tire press., changing gears @ lower rpms, using the a/c when absolutely necessary, avoid keeping the car @ idle for a long time (sitting in a parking lot with the car on for 30 mins).

gas is going down here... in the G's, the max tire pressure is 51psi i think.. that means, you all should really keep your tires at 46. thats to get the best mileage. alot of people dont know it, but underinflated tires KILL your mileage. also, its more efficient to run with windows down 45mph or slower, and AC on 46 and up. take all the **** out of your car that you dont need. FOR EXAMPLE. for us who have rims bigger than 18 inches, take the spare tire out. you wont be using it anyhow..for me, i took the golf clubs out. see what you can spare your G

20 cents a gallon difference isn't that different, percentage wise, with $3 gas than with $1 gas
After my last tire rotation, they over inflated my tires to 41psi. I didn't notice for the first 2000 miles of my vacation, and when I reduced it, my average mpg dropped 1-2.
