Yesterday, the roads were all icey and on my way out of my unplowed parkinglot at work, the car spun out. Nothing serious, but right after i heard a loud beep for about 3 seconds and then an exclimation point light turned on right next to the VDC/OFF light. What is this light. I am bringing it into the dealer later today but i like asking these questions here first because i get a faster and more accurate response. IS it the tire pressure? Because all four tires are fine.

my tire pressure light looks kinda like a U with the ! in the middle...thats what it probably was...Pingo

 

how do you reset it, the tire pressure is fine.

I had that light come on and all I did is check my tire pressure and sure enough, two were a little low. Filled them to spec and the light went off and has never come on again.

"SUCCESS" only comes before "WORK" in the Dictionary!

 

If it is a tire pressure light, I can't imagine that the dealer would have to reset it. That would be really poor design, since the cause of the light (low pressure) can be easily fixed (add air) and does not affect other systems in the car (namely the engine).

If one of my engineers came to me with a design like that, I'd shoot him!
