Pictures often hide how bad things are. If it was my car and I could still see it, I'd get it repainted. It would bug me forever every time I went to get in.

My car got bonked in a parking lot; I got the rear quarter repainted and it's impossible to see where the work was done. It's all about the quality of the shop you take it to.

The thing with my scratch is that now after it was buffed, you need to know where the scratch is, and even then, you need to get really close and at the right angle to actually be able to see it. As far as repainting it... don't forget that you have a black car, it's much harder to notice any differences in colors when it's black. DG or any other silver for that matter, on the other hand, are a real pita to try to blend.
