i just purchased the X02 exhaust (hks replica) and it is a bit too loud inside the car. i have unresonated testpipes. is there anything that i can do to quiet down the inside of the car besides putting the factory cats back on, or dynamat? it sounds mean on the outside just the way i want it to, but the inside is just a bit too loud for my taste. if i cant fix this i will be selling it soon. it is already listed in the marketplace.

Why don't you want to put some OE or aftermarket HFCs on? That's your best bet to quiet it down.

If you have the OEM cats, those are free. If you want to spend the money, go for aftermarket cats.

 

Not tryin to hijack your thread buuut. How's the quality of this exhaust? Is it worth the $$$? I have thought about taking the plunge and buying this just to see. I know your not happy with the inside noise but is anything else wrong
or cheap looking? I have been going back & forth between this and top speed exhaust just looking for a little inside info.

 

Get an exhaust shop to put in some resonators for you..

actually the qualit was good and i love the sound on the outside. i think with oem cats this would be a great exhaust.
