Black/Grey Smoke On Startup??

Black/Grey Smoke On Startup??
With the snow so bad here in Northern Indiana BRRRR the coupe has been in the garage for a day or so. Started it up to show my parents and the exhaust was a real heavy grey color for a bit then it cleared up. I tried again, this time a day later and it did the same thing! Is this normal for just a day of sitting? My 1973 Charger show car smogs a bit but it sits all winter long, this was only for one day!! Any tips or help would be great :-)

Re: Black/Grey Smoke On Startup??
Sounds like a rich mixture, but it's probably because of the cold conditions on start-up, where the ECU will call for much more fuel than usual.
If you're concerned about it, the service dept. can connect their 'Consult II' to give a readout of all the ECU settings, tho I expect they'll tell you the conditions you're describing are normal.
