I've also heard it's loud. It's configured like the stock exhaust, but without the resonator. IMO, it's overpriced for what it is. That's the reason it's sold mainly through dealers.

Re: B&B exhaust is my choice

I hear the construction is real good, polished etc, easy bolt on and sounds loud enough to notice but not ricy. and the best part is its reasonable compared to the other that are over a grand. im really worried that it may be TOO loud though. i have a sound clip but its hard to tell. any more info would be appreciated. thanks any cheaper companies than Grubbs selling it? Re: B&B exhaust is my choice

I had that exhaust, it was loud and IMO ricey. Maybe it was just mine though because other people have been somewhat happy with theirs. I picked mine up at a dealership in Arizona about one year ago for $900. Sold it on Ebay for $355 and got the Borla TD. IMO the Borla is almost too quiet but hopefully after headers or high flow cats it will sound perfect.

Re: B&B exhaust is my choice

We have one on our Project coupe and actually were the ones that sent a G35 and 350Z to B&B back when they needed a car to mock everything up. The B&B is louder and has a more "racey" sound to it, it sorta gurgles and just has less muffling than the others out there. I've heard probably 5-10 coupes with it on there, both with and without headers and other exhaust mods too...
We just got the Borla exhausts in and they're a true dual setup on the sedan and coupe, a bit less expensive, deeper and more smooth sounding. Just depends what you're looking for.... I really like the sound of the B&B, but for a daily driver the Borla probalby will be what most people would choose, due to the volume.

Re: B&B exhaust is my choice

keep it simple, you do not want the G35 to look anything close to rice....

I have heard B&B has a borderline ricey sound...

Re: B&B exhaust is my choice

I second exactly what joenismo said. I sold mine as well to a member on this board and got the Borla instead. The B&B sounds perfect just cruising around, but when you open it up it gets VERY loud and raspy. I would rather have the Borla - a little quiet but when you floor it people will notice. You might think about the Fujitsobo or Nismo, same design as B&B but not quite as loud from what I gather. FWIW, the quality/fit and finish of the B&B was top notch, just a little loud for my taste.

Re: B&B exhaust is my choice

well i got a friend who agreed to buy it from me if i didnt like it as long as i didnt charge him for shipping haha!! so i guess i cant go wrong right? trust me i dont want to go rice style. i dont even like it when others debadge the lettering much less add decals. but im a former mustang owner (2 of them) and always had off roads with flowmaster 2 chanber. I just want a noticeable sound and dont want to be disappointed with a slightly louder sound than stock. btw on ebay someone is selling a custom flowmaster system for the coupe. anyone heard of such before? thanks for all you guys' input
