Re: Torn between DP and DG!!!
Here's my 2 cents on DP vs other silvers. On being unique, I've only seen one other DP coupe in NJ and his plate number was like 2 digits off of mine. Every woman i've seen driving a G was in a BS. The 3 G coupes in my area(like within a 3 block range) are all BS and driven by younger guys. Most common color i see on the road are DG. Again, this is what i've observed and that's me seeing like 30+ G's a week.
I say go for what you like don't ask for anyone's opinion. In the end it's your car who cares what guys on the internet say. Goto the dealer and have them put them side by side for you.

Re: Torn between DP and DG!!!
I was all for thr DP while reviewing the Infiniti website. However, once I got to the dealership for the initial test drive the DG just grabbed my eye. They were parked next to each other on a cloudy day. Again, the whole row looked good but there was just something about the DG. When I made the decision to buy I stayed with the DG and picked up on a sunny day and no regrets. If you havn't already, look at a line-up of as many colors as possible at choose the one you can't keep your eyes off of.

Here's my DP before my Gialla was installed. It doesn't look dirty. Did someone say it looks dirty? WTF?
<hr></blockquote>
Yeah, I said that. But I also said that it looks dirty when sitting next to a Brilliant Silver G35 coupe. How about posting a pic of your car right next to a BS? Then you'll see how much brighter/cleaner the BS car looks.

I've got DG and love it, no regrets, but the fact is the G35C looks fantastic in any color, so you can't go wrong. Look at the cars on the dealer's lot as they appear (you may need to visit a high volume dealer repeatedly) and pick the one that floats your boat the highest. Rest assured, whichever color you choose, you'll love it, and more importantly, you'll love owning this fantastic car.

With that type of logic, I guess a BS G would look dirty next to an IP G...
Two different colors, completely clean and Zaino'd, will look just that...like two different colors.
Nevertheless, to each his own. We are only talking about colors here...

Re: Torn between DP and DG!!!
Sure, if that's your logic.
But the problem is that BS and DP are just too close of a color match. Nobody would ever confuse IP with BS, unless they were color blind.
But like you said, everybody had their own taste. DP is a good color for those that like it. Personally, it would be my very last choice, for the reasons already stated.

Re: Torn between DP and DG!!!
Hey Loren....I've got a DG/Willow/6MT/Prem on order (and yes it was pretty hard to find although I did find one in Ohio but it had Nav which I didn't want) and I'd love to see some pics of the outside in and the inside with the color combo.
Thanks in advance!!
