Torn between DP and DG!!!

Re: Torn between DP and DG!!!
that would be DP there Monty. Thas why I bought it too. I lived in Europe for 7 yrs and over 70% of the cars there were either bimmer or Mercedes Silver. Kind of like some contest to see how many flavors of vanilla they could make. I was opposed to any silver at first. I was looking hard at the LR, but with no metallic, it just looked flat, and a COP magnet. So ended up getting the DP, and I'm very happy. I would like to get some slightly darker floor mats(like the rear trunk), as the lite tan seems to get dirty quicker. I like the DP, it gets plenty of compliments, and thats good enough for me!

It's pretty cool the way DP changes in different lighting. CB does it too, and even DG (like mine). My DG's highlights shine like...well...diamonds...in the sunlight, and it looks like graphite grey on overcast days. Desert Platinum looks like silvery platinum some of the time and a gold, sandy desert-like color other times. For once, paint names actually mean somthing!
