on my way to englishtown on saturday some ******* ran a stop sign and he took out my front bumper..i have an 04 bumper with the stock lip..my question is what bumper should i do the 06 with the klumzee lip or the same one i had??..i dont want to do an aftermarket one..the only difference with the 06 is the bottom curves up right??

 

Yes you are right. The only diff between 04 and 06 is that it has a lit integrated into the bumper.

On the after market note........Why not get a NISMO. You keep the INFINITI look with it but you add aggressiveness with it.

Please look at the bumper more closely. There are other differences.

Any pics of the Nismo one? I would get the bumper with the center opening...not sure on who makes it, you see 'em with an intercooler most of the time.

 

NO -

The 06 scallops are a different shape and larger - to begin with. If you look at the corners - the 06 is also about 3/4" lower - as the lip is integrated, however, they lift it in the center for clearance issues.

The 06 looks much better from the side of the car than the old bumpers design, especially if mixed with side skirts - like Impul's.

MEECHIN's 06 lip is a great accessory...but as with all lips - you'll have to watch for scrapping - especially if your lowered. It will lower the bumper overall another 1/2" or so.

What I was pointing out to is that bumper are pretty much same. The differences you guys describing will prolly not be noticed by someone who does not know the car that well. But the lip will deff be noticed.
So yeah there are some differences but lip is the biggest change to the bumper.

 

can u post the pic of the nismo from the side i wanna see how it lines up with the stock sides..
