You can steal an 07 Coupe at this point although your choices and options will be getting limited. It's your last chance for the original classic design.

Thanks everybody for your honest input......
I'm really itching to get a 6MT, and that is probably the main reason I would consider trading at this point.

I think I'll go over and see if they will work a deal on the IP. If not, I think I will hold off and test drive a G37. If I'm still unhappy with the body/style/looks, I'll see if maybe then I can pickup a leftover at a steal.

Thank You all again.

Dealer will probably give you $21K for your car, and you can probably get $23-24K with 40K miles retail, a little less for an automatic.

Oh I didn't know you were interested in the G37. If you do plan to get a G37, do you know what color combo? There are pics of it in Ivory Pearl.

I think you should wait it out...35k - 40k isnt a joke well atleast to most people and trust me most of the time you rush a buy thats this price range lots of regrets come into your head...I know the 07 deals are killer right now but i say wait till the G37 comes out you might like it once you see it in person...IMO its one sick car

To me all the $$ to upgrade only a few things from a 04 to a 07 is not worth it but i can understand itching to get a manual but dont let that rush your decision but yea 6MTs are lots of fun

I just picked up my DG 07 coupe about a month ago fully loaded. Prices are good because of the 37, and similar to yourself, I still prefer the current body style over the 37, and PLENTY of consideration went into my decision. Personally, I think it was a great move and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Think of it this way, the first time you saw a G35, what did you think to yourself? I know I personally though, "Damn, what a gorgeous looking coupe that is. THAT, will be my next ride regardless of the work it takes to get there."

Now think back to your first impressions of the G37. I for one thought, "Well, it's OKAY, don't like the back much, or the front, or the roofline, I GUESS the sideskirts are cool."

For me it became an easy decision after some thought. Good luck with whatever path you take.

I'd wait, most dealerships will probably still have a few G35s when they get the G37s in, now that doesn't mean you'll be able to get all the options/features/color you may want/be able to get now. If you do wait, you'll def. get a better deal b/c they'll be desperate to get rid of them.

As far as negotiating now, walking out and letting them call you, thats not a bad idea, especially if you wait another month or two (when G37s come out) before actually buying. In addition, if you wait, you'll be able to decide between the G35 and G37. Personally, if I was getting a new one there is no way I'd do it now b/c I know that I'd see the G37 and want it (even if when I saw them both I would choose the G35).

It really depends on how flexible you are with color choice and options. Like others have said, dealer leftovers at the end of the year will be less, but since the supply will dwindle, the options will be much less.

What was the MSRP of your car and do you have a 5AT or 6MT? Did the dealer charge you any other fees besides tax and license fees? Thanks in advance.

I got the EXACT same car you are looking at for 34,500 just last month. GO FOR IT.

Is that an OTD price or before taxes and lic. fees? And what exacts options?

I apologize to all you guys for asking all these questions. I am currently thinking about buying a new 07 coupe as opposed to a used 06. I am just trying to gauge what a good price would be for the '07 I am looking into. It's an auto with premium, navigation, sport, aero pkg., painted splash guards, and xm radio. Anyways, thanks to everyone for your input.

It was before taxes and tags. I have a 6mt, with premium, aero, trunk mat...I think thats it. It has everything except navi, sat radio, and Active rear steering.
