Grinding 6th
Well, like many on here my coupe started grinding 6th gear. My car only has 37K on it but the 4 yr warranty expired in June
I talk to my service manager and he said that it is most likely the synchros and that would be covered under the powertrain warranty. I hope it is and not something like my clutch (which feels fine anyway). I've got an appt on Monday morning where I am taking a ride with a tech so I can replicate the noise for him. Atleast I'll be driving around a 07 sedan for a couple days

Talk about timing on your car. I searched and read about 20 posts of similar problems. I have a very good relationship with my service manager and I was thinking it shouldn't be a problem to get it replaced, scoring a free new clutch would be nice as well, but from the other posts it seems like 1 out of 4 gets the clutch for free. Hmmm, I wonder how much they would charge to put in a JWT clutch/flywheel combo since they will already have it apart.

Well, I picked up my car last night and here's what took place:
Replaced trans - Warranty
Replaced clutch - Warranty
Pressure plate, throw out bearing, and labor for these = $379.
My clutch seems really really soft right now and grabs lower than before (not sure if I like it yet) however, the shifter is buttery smooth.
