My check engine light will come on sometimes when I been going WOT or driving hard for a lil while. Then whenever I turn the car on again the light is gone. Is this normal or should I get it checked out? Its happened a couple times before.

 

I drive my car hard and I have NEVER got a check engine light, you should defn have this looked at.

 

bring it to Autozone and get the code...we can't help you if we don't know the code

sometimes if you hit your rev-limiter the fuel will cut off and you will throw a multi cylinder miss fire code...
