(this is sooo annoying) Is is worth to have the dealer to do the repair?
SubscribeI hv a 03 coupe , and now I m suffering the problems (passenger side speaker on and off, windows rolls back down itself, door comes back itself,), but since I am out of warranty, should I take it back to the dealer and have them do the repair??? is it worth it? or should I just have the local audio shop to fix it? or maybe try to get the window motor on ebay and ask them do it?.. for the door, I am not sure what to do with it..please help out ~~ I been struggling on this for a long time~~

the on off speaker issue is a bad headunit. i guess try and get a used headunit for cheap somewhere?

The window rolling back down is the sensor screwed up.. it thinks it needs to roll higher (but cant) and rolls back down as if your arm was in the way. you can take it back to the dealer and its a quick fix

try the guys that installed it.. or if you want to check it out yourself get a volt meter and check power and connectivityOriginally Posted by edindaclub
No, I have the aftermarket headunit, Pioneer Avic-Z1
I have previously posted about my window rolling all the way up and then rolls back down half way, so i decided to try the window reset button and it worked.
The service manual shows how to do this and states to hold the reset button while rolling down the window, but that didn't work for me, instead, i held the button rolling it back up and it worked. Nevertheless, it takes some trial and error. You'll notice that pressing the button would immediately affect the way it rolls up and down.
As for your speakers, i have no idea, maybe just a loose connection
