can 06 tails work on a 03 or 04 coupe?

thanks. i tried the search button already, i was not successful in finding any info.

they'll work. can't use the trunk button without modification tho. to my knowledge, no one has done it yet.

Yupppp. I have the JDM 06's on my 03. You'll have to splice the harness and connect the blue power wire and the black grounding to the harness and I presume it'd be good to go? I never bothered to do it on mine.

Most dont bother with the trunk button...

we have both JDM and USDM 06-07 tail lamps instock...

JDM are less expensive for some reason... JDM have Amber turn signals...

PM with zip for best price...

I would totally snag a set of the newer ones if I can make that trunk button workable...Is there a DIY on this...

I'm gonna pull this thread from the grave and ask that question again. Can anyone provide a DIY on how to splice the wires and get the trunk release button to work on the 06+ tails?

a member got it to work but i cant find the thread ask admin caLvinator to find the thread for you

I've also searched to no avail. I've been in communication with Tony about upgrading my tails, and it would certainly influence my decision if I can get this cool button to work.
