If you have a 2003 coupe with 2006 tail lights i dont believe their is a plug and play wire for the trunk release. The button won't work for pre- 06 models.

you could wire it up to the button on your lower left hand dash button but if you lock your car the button will still work. I would love to find out how to do it then i would buy the lights

shouldnt be that bad.. a limit switch and a relay. maybe use the gas door to sense if the doors locked, m (IE when gas door locked trunk button does not work)

how about using macro switches? from a microwave? if that does work may be i can use my computstar neg trigger to use to see if the car is unlocked. I can't think of a way to just use factory wireing or tap in to anything.
