Hey, i was out doing some donuts in my coupe the other night with the VDC Off obviously. I noticed that a while later, the VDC Off and SLIP lights stayed lit and wouldnt go away, even when I tried to turn the VDC back on by pushing the button. I was just wondering if this happens to anyone else in their coupe and maybe why? Thanks...

 

Ok, so I thought to the service department at my local Inifiniti dealership in Fairfield CT and apparently when you turn VDC Off, Traction control still stays on, eventually, when the lights stay lit, traction control will also turn off. But they had no idea how to get the car to do that, and I dont know what I did either. Does anyone have any idea how to get the VDC OFF and SLIP lights to stay on (even if you try to turn them back on, you cant without turning the car off and back on). This would be ideal because donuts just arent that fun with traction control on. Thanks

 

yeah it wont come back on after doughnuts. you need to turn the car off then back on and it will be back to normal. The VDC just give up after a while of doing crazy stuff. Just word to the wise you should not do a lot of donuts becuase that will throw ur alighnment off. enjoy ur car but be carfull with those. good.

To turn the lights off after you have yoru fun.. turn the car off, turn it back on.. and drive it for about 5 minutes.. the lights will go off.. same thing when you go to dyno your car.. rear 2 wheels move but not the front 2.. the computer gets confused..
