Yes to the creaks and rattles......an endless symphony.
No to the seats.......the most comfortable to date with the exception of my older Volvo seats.

What's really surprising to me is that you didn't mention on word about tires!!!!

My G also had some bad popping sounds. Got it fixed at the stealers for free. "Loose axle bolt".

that sucks to hear. the g is definatley not a MERCEDES. but i like it, yes it does make noises at times, and yes the brembo's chew threw rotors like dip at a baseball game, but damn it the g is the sickest coupe on the road PERIOD. and i think the first gen. g coupe will remain a hot,hot car for years to come. buy a yaris.

this car was hot. but i seem to see about 5-10 of these on the streets everyday. that combined with the popping and cracking noises makes this car less attractive.

i mean, check out the resale value. thats the #1 reason why i refuse to sell my G with only 7k miles. I paid way to much for.

If you think the G35 Coupe is around, you should see how my Bimmers of all kinds are here in Florida. There are more of them than Ford 150 Pickups! If you want grief, own a BWW.

Grief? How many BMW owners had to send their brand new car back to the dealer for a NEW engine? I had my engine replaced only after 6kmiles. Not only that, it looks like some HS kids did the work. all the bolts looks like they have been stripped and doesn't look "factory new" to me.

Then, my car had to go back for a "headlight" recall. Got the car back with 2 headlights that weren't aligned properly. Both fenders needed repainted because of some scratches from re-fitting the bumpers.

Then, last week, my car had to go back beacause the suspension was loose and had to be re-torqued.

All this in less then 8 months.

dont blame the car cuz some kids fresh out of autoshop jacked up your car. ask someone that owns a bmw and they will tell you that they end up at the dealer alot more than they thought they would have.
