05 g35 for 24k?!?!

Well I've been looking around for a used g35 recently, and I've got a low $20k budget, so that put me at a 2004 w/ about 50k miles.

BUT I just gave a 2005 a shot, and found one for 24k w/25k miles!!!!!!

too good to be true? just asking for ur guys' opinions. (also the free carfax report comes out clear)

make SURE you get a Car Fax report first. Perhaps the car has been in an accident and has had major body work.

1+ to AthensBlueG.

24K for an 05 G35 with only 25k miles sounds too good to be true.

If nothing if wrong with the reports, take it

.

thats a really good deal. i got my 04 6mt with 20k for 20k last year and was i happy. you found a pretty good 05. i personally wouldnt get it since its auto, but if thats ur liking or convenient for u then by all means go for it =D. u probably wont see a deal like that for a while.

I'm willing to bet you money that it's been in an accident.
If it's sounds to good to be true, it is.

On the other hand I purchased mine for $24k a few months ago.
BUT I purchased mine from a private sale, with cash.

Here were some other ones I found

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ax_price=24000
BS 5AT with 63k miles & NAV

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...000&cardist=67
BS 6MT with 49k miles

Anyways heres the free carfax that the dealer provided.

http://www.carfax.com/cfm/ccc_Displa...CV54E25M402800

So would this one be identical to the one I would get?

I'm wondering if there are things I need to worry about that might NOT be on the carfax.

Also, if I were to go to the dealer right now, how much should I expect to get off the 24k?

btw, that color's athens blue right? the light makes it look a little "faded" than normal.

thanks for the help!

Im looking to buy a G the coming weekend!!
Im thinkin bout givin them a call/email tomm

Get the VIN # of the vehicle and decription and go to an Inifiniti dealer and tell them to find any previous records of the cars services. This way you can find out what kind of factory work has been done on the car such as a new engine or trans etc...

I just realized that the "free carfax report" that was available on autotrader isnt there anymore. Maybe the duration of the free report expired?

Well it basically said everything was ok (no accidents, salvage, etc) and the only 3 reports were
1) car delivered to original dealer
2) car registered at dmv
3) car sold to the dealer its at right now

seeing how athens would or was my second choice to CB i'd say buy the car. Since each and everyone of us is an authorized visual mechanic take what we say as if it were Gold.

Or you could just go to the dealership then take the car to get inspected
