They might be costly, but I say go for the infiniti rubber mats. They fit perfectly and look like they belong, as opposed to universal mats you get at pep boys.

btw they around around $75 for all 4
Edited by conq on 01/28/04 09:13 AM.

Re: Hey Coupe guys!!! Floor Mats???

I just got a set of Infiniti all-weather mats @ www.everythingg35.com for $75...well worth the money. I've always had rubber mats in all my cars...I think they look better plus they're easy to clean & they don't stain like cloth mats. These fit perfect plus they have the Infiniti logo on them.

Wal-Mart....$9.97 for one clear mat. I don't drive it in the snow anyway. I just put it down over the factory mat. Mine has become a garage queen lately.

I got a set of the Infiniti all weather mats. I can't believe how dirty it gets in the winter! I've always just used the factory carpet mats and now I know how much crap gets on those in the winter. The rubber mats are the way to go if it snows in your area.

Re: Hey Coupe guys!!! Floor Mats???

just to throw my two cents in...

I just picked up my G35c two weeks ago. I live in NYC and we have been getting hit with a ton of snow. I picked up a set of all weather mats at the dealer and put them right in. I have had to clean and dump them twice already. I could not imagin all of that crap soaking into the factory set.

Definately worth the $75.

Re: Hey Coupe guys!!! Floor Mats???

I have the Infiniti all-weather mats as well even though I'm in California. I don't worry about snow, but it catches the sand from the beach or mud on a rainy day pretty well. And once my daughter spilled a coke onto the back floor and I would have been pretty mad if not for those mats. Those mats are well worth the expense IMO.

Re: Hey Coupe guys!!! Floor Mats???

I bought Factory All season rubber mats. I love them. I have them in the car on top of the carpet mats but now that I give it some thought I think I should put the carpet mats away in my basement and just leave the rubber mats in the car.

I got the clear mat that goes over the carpeted mat. Infiniti dealerships sell them for around $40.

Re: Hey Coupe guys!!! Floor Mats???

For my 2 cents worth, get the Infiniti custom mats because they fit and look better, but anchor them. If you must go with third-party aftermarket mats (as I did), do ANCHOR them.

My reason: Check out my two recent posts in "G35 Coupe General" that deals with "Accelerator stuck to floor!"

Clear corners & bra ~ Aluminum pedals ~ Tint 20%

Re: Hey Coupe guys!!! Floor Mats???

I put a set of Nismo mats in the front. While not an exact duplicate cut of the G35 mats, they're close enough that they fit fine. The black mats in the graphite interior really look good, IMO. The carpet is of a little higher quality than the stock mats. Wish I could pick up a set for the rear, but these are made for the "Z". I don't have to worry about snow in Tucson.
