Shifter... Problem maybe??

Whats up guys, been driving my G for a few days now.. I might be just paranoid or something.. but is it normal for the shifter to have a slight vibration while in neutral? Its not even like a vibration.. more like it has a little movement or something...Or is it something serious?

My shifter vibrates a lot too since it's a direct link to the tranny. Make sure the car runs as it should and you're able to shift. Mention it to the dealer next time you're changing your oil, to make sure it's normal and that you'll be covered in the future just in case. Enjoy.

make sure UR NOT using the shifter for a hand rest, can be detrimental to synchro's.

Get a solid tranny mount if you can live with the major vibrations moving to your chassis instead of the shift ****.

Well it's only obvious. You put some strain on the syncros when your hand is constantly on the shifter because the shifter is directly connected to your tranny. I've got the same nasty habbit. Still do at times to be honest
