Exclamation Airbag light flashing??

This morning I started my G, and the frickin airbag light kept flashing and continued to flash while driving. Has anyone else had a similar problem and does anyone know what the problem is??

BTW, I own a '05 G35 6mt.

the actuall "flash" sequence points to a particular malfunction. It should come on for 7 sec the go out, trouble is indicated if on for 7 sec and then flashes every .5seconds. Still in warranty? have dealer check it.

You could try the key method to shut it off. It may reappear though. I forgot the exact process but if you search it should be on here somewhere. I know it involves turning the key to the on position (not starting the car), wait for a blinking light to stop (can't remember which one) and then shut it off and repeat this process 5 or 6 times.

Mine flashed and after a scan at the dealer, it turned out to be a defective passenger seatbelt mechanism.

If you've never messed around with the center console area, take it back to the dealer and have them check it out. Flashing the system may not be a good idea if the airbags are indeed defective.

did you work on the car recently. if you turn the ignition on while one of the airbag plugs are out then it'll flash even after you plug it back in. there's a reset trick on this forum. check the stickies.
