If you trade for a NEW 06 6MT, youll definitely take a 3-5K hit. If you trade for another used 06MT, you will take a smaller hit or it can be an even trade, depending on mileage of your car and the trade.

The trade-in G's havent flooded the market yet. Wait a good month or two and you will definitely see a rise in G35's.

For a close to even trade, you would probably have to hope to find someone with a 6MT that wants to trade to Auto. Otherwise, if you trade it in, and buy retail, you are paying a bundle.

I was probably lucky earlier this summer I didn't have a MT. My knee was bothering me similar to how arthritis may feel. Luckily, I seem to have finally worked it out.

Does your State allow you to deduct your trade-in value when they calculate sales tax? if not, even if you do get even trade (lil or no chance that will happan) you still will be owing sales tax, that along is around 1.5~2k.

Just to give you an idea, KKB have them in difference of trade-in and Private party sales at about 2.5k.
