Hi all.

Looked at a used 05 coupe tonight and noticed that the VIN plaque was held in by ONE little plastic "push on" thing. arent VIN plaques supposed to be riveted in?

Also, i noticed a rattle in the back when going over bumps, is this common? if so, is it an easy fix?

Everything you mentioned seems right about the car, the rattle part well its not normal but it's been around the forum, just search i'm very sleepy now, i'll be back in around 12 hours, busy day

 

i searched and found out that the rattle is a TSB.

still wondering about the underhood VIN plate.

 

Not to sure about the VIN plate but most are riveted in. The dealer should be able to fix that problem for you. As far as rattles, welcome to the fun part of owning a G!

 

can someone please pop their hood and check?
