Going in for 3rd tranny

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if there have been any revisions in the 06 MT tranny? This will be the second time its being changed out due to the 6th gear grinding. Anyone know if I should be asking for a different tranny or anything?

Thanks,

Gurveer.

Don't know about any revisions to 06 gearboxes or TSB's, but believe the 08 G37's have been revised. First thing to my mind is lemon law being the 3rd.
They rebuilding or replacing new? No synco problems with my 06.

Maybe ask/research/search in this section. Have read somewhere there about ppl on their 2nd/3rd tranny awhile ago. Not sure what year tho.

Hey,

They're replacing new. I don't know if we have the same lemon laws here in Canada. Anyone know if there any lemon laws or if I can argue for a few car since this'll be the 3rd transmission now.

Thanks for the help.

Gurveer.

Don't know about lemon laws in Canada. Google it for your parts.

Two ways to look at this...
3 strikes your out
or
Third time a charm

G/L with your third...hope its a good tranny so you can go on and enjoy your G trouble free.

Thanks guys. Yea I'm starting to get pretty annoyed with the amount of problems I've had. My automatic yes thats right automatic Integra had less problems. And I shifted that thing as if it was a manual hahaha.

You just said what was on my mind man.. My 06 has had way too many problems for what its worth.

My turbocharged 1996 integra LS has never had one stupid problem...
1) My sunroof on the teg doesn't crack or pop
2) My 10 year old window motor never took a dump as of yet
3) My 5 speed old school shift linkage connected shifter shift Smoothly, and doesn't Vibrate like the one on the G does.
4) It even gets better Gas mileage. I this litlle engine is turbocharged. Acceleration while not under boost feels quicker then the G
5) My rear axle bolt on the Integra never GOT LOOSE.
6) My car doesnt crack and pop when I drive over a speed bump or driveway
7) My steering wheel isn't even scrated on this teg. But the steering wheel on my G is already looking like crap. Scraped and scratched on the bottom.
8) My sunroof motor still works fine.
9) My power window never once had to be "resetted".
10) My horn doesnt sound like a toy R us toy crap from Mattel.
11) Over 190k miles and not consuming oil. It's even BOOSTED. Although I did rebuild the bottom end witn forged pistons, rods, new headgasket, bored, and honed 1 size over and balanced.

Here is a video of my G popping and cracking driving down the driveway.

Basically...third strike your out meaning Infiniti, like baseball. Go forward with lemon law.
Sorry, didn't mean you out personally.

on the passenger side of the tranny it should be stamped '009' as the latest revision. So far mine has been working ok.
