New Altima Interior = New 2005 G35 Interior?
Lately, a bunch of people have been pretty inquisitive over possible 2005 G35 coupe revisions, myself included.
Select individuals over at freshalloy are pretty sure that there will be 300HP and a completely redisigned interior for the 2005 G35.

To tell you the truth, I've been pretty skeptical, but now I've just seen that the new Altima got a completely redesigned interior.
This may hint that a completely redisgned interior for the G35 will actually happen in 2005. Does anyone have any absolutely solid evidence on this subject?

Changes, YES there were changes to 2004 model...
Complete Redesign?? I seriously doubt it!!! Its not smart on Nissan's part.
The Altima is not a "new" car...redesigns tend to occur every 5yrs or so depending on the sales of the car. The G35 will only be in its 3rd yr and the 03 was on backorder until the day they stopped making them and the 04's went on order. Even if Nissan wanted to redesign the car, it wouldnt be smart economically and therefore probably wont get done. As soon as this car gets drastic changes, the resale value goes down in the old ones, and resale value is a very important selling point in a 3-5yr old car...as well as it will **** current G owners off and no one wants a mob of angry Gs
as for 300HP??? maybe but I doubt it...i can see them puttin the Ztube in and saying 285 and making clear corners an option!!!

Re: New Altima Interior = New 2005 G35 Interior?
I think the current G interior looks better than the new Altima interior.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy an '04 before the supposed redesign of the '05 (if it even happens).
What would bother me is if they did bump the HP up to 300. But it would probably be easy to duplicate on an '03 or '04 G35, I hope.

I agree with you...I like the g's interior. sillief00l's g interior comparasin pic isn't the best I've seen....here's a better pic of the g's interior. Nothing beats the cool look of the pop-up nav!

One of the biggest reasons I went with the G is because of the interior...I hate the "old peoples" interior...and I think the altima's interior looks like "an old person's car"...No offense to any old people..but obviously you are still younge at heart if you are driving a G...(so you can't be that old)
