my car is a elase and i have some mods on there. brought it to the dealeship many times. they know me and my car. and I know that they could only charge me if the mod caused the prob which never happens. dont be scared. mod away

yea and i need you to take my intake off and put it back on.. i ****ed the whole thing up..

well i didnt **** it up, it just needs to be re installed....

Installing an intake is by far the easiest thing to do. But installing an intake and not voiding your warranty is false. If you have an intake, and your MAF goes bad (which I think happened to me), they will blame your intake.

No, if the intake is dealer approved then they have no choice but to replace the MAF just as if you had the stock intake installed.

I agree.
I've spoken to my dealership about it, and they said specifically that having an intake on your car voids your entire engine warranty. However, if/when you have warranty work to get done, simply remove it and install the stock system. They won't know the difference.
