Keep your Coupe and put your money you'd saved on a interest bearing CD. Orange account and a few other establishments are now offering pretty good rates. Then when that money you'd saved has multiplied, you will have a substantial amount of money saved up to buy a starter home (unless you have one already) and buy yourself a better car than the one you're wanting right now.

You're torn........simple solution!

Here's a simple solution to your delama. Take a quarter out of your pocket
heads=wheels and tails=save the cash, see simple flip it in the air and you'll
have your answer......don't cheat either!

Do the responsible and smart thing (even tho its no fun right now) and invest it. Cars do nothing but depreciate and CDs/investments usually appreciate. The stockies look fine if you have to sport package rims, especially for a 4K dollar difference.
