Question about rattling noise

I heard that the rattling noise that occurs when your car has been parked is due to either vdc recalibrating or it's your abs brakes. Either way, I'm hearing rattling noise everytime I start my car regardless how long it has been parked and I drive for few seconds. SHould I get it checked out?

Re: Question about rattling noise

I usually hear a clunk right when I start up, then that rattle shortly after I take off. I was told by the service manager the first noise is the VDC self-testing and the second noise is the anti-lock brakes resetting and not to worry about either.
