hey guys i'm new and i'm expecting to get my G in the coming weeks. but i have this question. is it possible to get the aero kit alone, without the tire package? My dealer said if i get one, i have to get both. I plan to change out the rims to something else, so i don't want my money wasted on something i don't want.

 

He's right the Aero Kit is only available from the factory with the 18" tire and wheel package. However, since the package only includes the spoiler and a couple of underbody diffusers, the dealer could add that themselves. I know many dealers add the spoiler as a dealer installed option. I see no big deal here.

Get the coupe without the aero. It's easily added.

Just note that if the dealer adds the spoiler you will have an extra brake light - the one in the back window.

If you get a car with a factory installed spoiler, it will not have the brake light in the rear window.

You could order a car from the factory with the spoiler, but not the Aero, but that will take several months.

Since you're talking about getting the tire package as an option, I assume you're looking at an AT, because the 6MT's all come with it.

I think you only get the Limited Slip Differential if you get the performance tire/wheel package, so you might want to check into that. You can always sell the wheels and tires on the various g35 forums + ebay.
