Timing belt

how often should you change your timing belt?

It's a timing chain behind the front engine cover and doesn't really need to be changed. Do you mean the drive belts?

true.. its a timing chain.. if i am correct.. and almost never will you change it. as far as drive belts. look at them and see if you can see any cracks on the belts. if so change.. I just had my car fully serviced with 55,000 miles. and i plan on keeping it for awhile so i had all of my fluids changed and belts.. they put synthetic back in.. total around $500 but it is peace of mind.

On the 2007, actually 3 chains, a primary and 2 secondary. Should last the life of the engine. Not to be confused with drive belts. As to the belts, after 60K miles, inspect for damage every 15K miles, replace IF damaged. According to 2007 SM.
