I don't think Rambo is using "stock" as a definition of bare bones. The 18's are an option to the standard 17's. If you upgrade to the 18's, those tires are experiencing some cold weather issues. My 17's hardly act different regardless of temperature. I'm sure there are some better 18 tires out there.

Oh yah heh, of course there are better 18's out there, just get a set of Michelon All-Seasons, tire size may be a bit of problem, but im sure you can work something out.

The problem with the Pilots is that they take too long to heat up... other than that they are GREAT tires.
