Just thought I'd let everyone know. I just bought a 2003 G35 coupe repair manual on CD (The official Infiniti one) for $35.00 shipped. Seems like a great deal to me. Both 2003 coupe and sedan are available for the same price. I don't have it yet, but it looks official.

If you get it as a cd-r/w, then chances are it's illegally copied.

Personally, I wouldn't mind distributing something like this, but if this guy is trying to make money off of selling something he paid $20 for, then that's just wrong.

Of course, if he's not selling a copied CD, then nevermind everything I just said.


PS - I'm also assuming that you mean the service manual as well, not repair manual. If you mean something other than service manual, then nevermind as I don't know the legal crap with that. Also on www.nissan-techinfo.com the CD for the g35 coupe service manual costs $210, but can be downloaded for $20.

Is there a difference between the $210 CD and the $20 download? My other car has the manuals on CD, and it comes with a windows GUI application, with search capabilities, diagnostics, etc. Is the Infiniti one the same? Or is it just a PDF of the print manual?

 

pretty sure the $20 DL from Nissan-Techinfo.com/infiniti is the same as the CDROM. I've seen the actual CD on the maxima and they were the same PDFs as on the website.

When you can get the download for $20, I dont see why anyone would bother with copies. My understanding is that Tweddle (the publisher) will go after people selling copies, be it on ebay or on forums.
