I live in St. Louis, Missouri. I own a performance and racing company. We specialize in older cars but I want to venture into the import platform. I hold dealerships with every major company now. I bought my wife a G35 coupe, black, Limo tinted windows, put in an Injen CAI, Borla TD exhaust, Hyper Grounded it... but she is tired of an old Trans Am racer playing with her car so I went and bought a stock G35 to build for the magazines. Worked a deal with Nismo for cams R-tune.
The rest is up to you to tell me what I need to do to kill Supra's, Level M3's, and kick the rest of the crowd and place the beast we create here on G35Driver and on the cover of every single mag out there.
The key to this project is style, horse power, and making the 350z look like the piece it really looks like.
Oh, I am not a greddy dealer yet but the papers are being signed.

Thnking about ING's for the side panels for blow-off valves for the turbo if we go that rought. But as far as anything else goes that's up to G35Driver.
The car I grabbed is basic. NO 6MT were available. So we need to figure out how to make a auot/manual beat every thing out there on the Hot Import Night circut... Stereo, wheels, rims, boost, looks speed, 0-60 and 1/4 mile..
I want a car that will kill the rest and put G35 as the best.The reason is simple. Editors think the 350Z is the car to build on. I think wrong, the Nissan Skyline is the car to build on abd we need to embrace on this every single day.. Take it I have all of the skyline badging ready but who knows, we could skunk them with Infinity logos.

 

I dunno much about mods, but I would go ahead and keep the Infiniti logos, just if anything to **** off the competition even furhter. Be proud of the G35, it's the shiznit.

As far as mods for performance goes, I'd have to leave suggestions for that in the hands of those who have said they've modded their cars here on this forum. Many hear have the ATI procharger, which when tuned along with the other stuff should beat the cars you mentioned. What kind of kit (if any) are you looking to put on it? In my mind the slickest/cleanest is the IMPUL kit (the one that Ichiro Suzuki has on his skyline)...

Please keep posting your updates (with before/after pictures!) here as many of us are interested in what you are attempting to accomplish.

QUICK! change the suspension to the best one there is... add the NISMO sway and struts... change the pulleys, and add a forced induction of some kind.

There's so much to do...

Man there is a huge list of what you can do. Definitly get the Turbo kit. See if you can get the Top Secret one if not get the Greddy.

As for exterior and interior Man those Ings+1 what ever they are called. They have some real bad *** side panels. The kinda look like the Lorinser panels for Mercedes Benz. Get some HRE Wheels. If you can also get it to become a widebody. Try to fit some real wide wheels.

Of cource i dont know what your budget is so you gotta let us know. For the Interior you gotta get the leather and suede combo going on. Also get some leather piping going around the seats. Make them match the color of the car.
The sound system well, i think personally get everything from 1 company. Thats your choice. The reason i say that is maybe you can get a sponsorship going on there. I might be able to help out on that. PM i will let you know.

Dude there is so much but let us know what your budget is.

Alpine 5-6 inch headrest tvs
Take out all the airbags Including side passenger airbags and custom fit some tvs in there
Custom fit some kenwood lz-800w tv screens into rear side windows so the screens can be seen from outside
Diamond Hex Component speakers or Focal Utopia or Arc Rainbow series
REDO-Entire dash and center console and rear console in Fiberglass and match to exterior paint.
Change out the seats to Recaros
Take out rear seats in exhange for 4 bottles of the "Juice" Nitrous...to get over the turbo lag from the T-88 turbo you'll be puttin on there.
A whole [censored] load of internals so your could possibly run 30+ lb.s of boost
A few spare "built" motors for when you blow the one your testing on.

Hmm..hmm..

a nice set of BFG Drag radials to run those awesome 1/4 mile times

ohh yea lower the compression of the motor to about 8:1 or 8.5:1 for the forced induction
All kindsa custom paint work to make it stand out...BUT NOTHING RICER!

Get Alpine everything for the audio/video. It would be so hot.

Twin-turbo of course. Keep the Infiniti badging all the same, BUT change the "G35" to "350GT". Projector lights. Same exhaust that Ducatiguy has. BIGGER Brembo's. Just a few of the things I would do with the $ $ $.
5zigen hyper 5zr's. Ohhh add gauges like the 350z. =) That'll show em.

i definitly agree with coupedit03. as for the forced induction, go with Greddy TT. i think they're more reliable. plus greddy's the sh*t. You have to have the crawford plenum,the eibach pro-kit, and the Veilslide body kit i think is another definite. that kit is sweet. Once again, like everyone is saying. it all depends on your budget. If you want to make this thing BIG... i will be glad to let you know whats hot around my way.. GOOD LUCK brother...

p.s i think u should go with rims like the one in this pic.. i forget there name.. but not necessarily this color...and go with the ingen exhaust...its hot

ok, well this all depends on how you want to power your ride...if you want NA, i would definitely try and get in touch with Top Secret. They built a 450 hp all-motor VQ motor with off the shelf parts. imagine wat you can do with 450 all-motor hp...if you want to go turbo, i would also look to top secret. their stuff is not really geared towards the mainstream like greddy or stillen, but really more towards puttin out hardcore numbers for the track...if you want to go supercharger, it all depends on how much maintenance you want to put in on it...the stillen kit requires some mods to the hood...the vortech one requires that you tap the oil pan...the ATI one is a self contained unit that requires much less maintenance and heats up less and you dont have to deal with oil leaks thru the line or the pan, which is why i am opting for that kit...so pretty much all i'm saying is, decide what you want ultimately out of the car, by simply saying, "i want the badest mama-jama out there" is too broad, with so many applications and setups that you can do, you must decide which is best for you, then, RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH!!! the same goes for the suspension, aerodynamix, and braking aspects of your car...

TWIN TURBO IT DEFINITELY! BUILD UP THE MOTOR THOUGH (CAM GEAR, TITANIUM RETAINERS AND LIFTERS, FORGED PISTONS, ETC.) ONCE THE INTERNALS WORK IS DONE, THEN THE TURBOS, BLOW OFF VALVE, TURBO TIMER, BOOST CONTROLLER, FULL EXHAUST, INTAKE, ETC.
