Hey guys [sorry, and gals ], as I mentioned in a previous message, I'm still awaiting delivery on my 2004 Coupe. I've always loved the way the integrated turn signals look on the Mercedes and some Lexus cars and I know there have been many posts regarding mirrors with turn signals but I was wondering if any of you had seen the offering from JC Whitney. Now obviously, I would never think of cheapening the way the Gs look so I'm looking for some info as to whether you think these would work or not. They're amber colored, flexible aluminum backing and can be wired into the turn signals. You can see the item at: http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...&storeId=10101.

Since it sticks on, I think it might look tacky! There are better ways of doing this mod. The down side is money, like always.

It doesn't look too bad in that photo at JCWhitney but it's hard to tell from one small photo. The sedan has turn signal mirrors available from Nissan in Japan but I don't think the Coupe has that available yet. I would swap mine out if Nissan offered it.

Hi Kahboom. I think JCWhitney sometimes minimizes work involved to sell their product. I guess if you simply mounted the lights with the enclosed double sided tape, abd ran teh wires in some cheezy, obvious fashion, there would be "no drilling required". However, if I were to ever do it, I'd run the wires through the mirror and into the car so they'd be hidden. If you could run the wires through the same hole that the mirror motor wires are run, you might not need any further drilling.

Just a guess though until I decided whether to buy them or not.

Has anyone maybe thought about having the mirror turn signal from JC Whitney possibly custom fitted by cutting the shell of the mirror by a body shop? Let me know if anyone thought about this or know someone who has?
