driver side window, not functioning.
hmm.. seems to be a minor problem:
driver side window does not function at all. when you open the door, the window does not slightly jerk downwards and does not raise when door has been closed. window function for driverside is not working either.
i tried pushing in the window slightly to see if anything was jammed inside.. wouldn't budge, so i think it's the fuse. anyone had a problem similar so far?

I doubt it would be the fuse b/c both windows should be connected to the fuse. The fuse might be the culprit if both windows didn't work. There could be a loose connection or your switch could be bad or loose.

dunno, mines been frozen many times this winter.. is it cold there? Has it rained recently? Any rain for the last 3 days and some chilly temps = frozen windows.

getting mine fixed today. mine is the passenger side. my problem is that from time to time, the passenger side would not roll up or down at all. Sometime it would work and sometime it wouldn't. I bought back to the dealer about two weeks ago, and it just happen that the problem occur when the service manager took a look at it. Then later off course the technician look at it, he couldn't reproduce it. So they were about to replace the relay and that is when it happen again. They concluded it was the motor. Dealer order it and today i am getting it fix.

How interesting...
I have an appointment for this monday to have my driver's side window looked at... It works very very intermittently...
but the motor sounds like it's dying..especially when rolling up. But for long periods of time the window would not roll up or down at all. So I left my window slightly cracked (while it worked for the short period of time) until I can take it in on monday.

well i checked out the car, and the windows were working temporarily. yes the motor sounded as if it was struggling. something is surely stuck inside. i live in los angeles, so snow/ice is out of the question.
i'm going to the dealer right now, but i hope they could look at the situation asap. i don't want to leave my car hanging with a window open for too long.. especially in the apt. garage.

took my car in for service.
regulator and motor were shot. replaced under warranty. i need a new titanium painted plastic door handle on the driver side though... anyone know where i can buy a cheap spare? maybe i can get it painted.

Had the same thing happen to me a while ago. Had to bang on the door to get it to work temporarily. It was the motor that burnt out; under warranty of course...

well just got back from the dealer. replaced the passenger motor and the funny thing is, there is a tsb out for it. he told me it was just in and i was the first one that the tsb was perform.

yup... apparently, there's a history of these motors... must of been a bad batch. i took my car into Infiniti of Santa Monica.. also known as Advantage Infiniti. great service, and never leaves me hanging. Ricardo, the main service guy is the shiznet snap bangs... i recommend infini of samo.
