Tires causing vibrating sounds????
So I JUST noticed driving to work last week that between 20 and 30 mph, there is a MAJOR and LOUD vibrating noise coming from somewher eon my G35. Took me that long as I really don't spend alot of time between 20 and 30
And its not a vibrating FEEL, just a loud noise, kinda of like a repititive thump only between 20 and 30. So brought it to the dealer to take a look at and they said its probably my tires as they are almost down to the wear bar (OEM Michelin Pilots).
Now I'm not a car genious, but I've driven cars for a while and have definitely worn a tire or two down to flat, and I've NEVER heard this before.
Is this true?

dont forget wheel bearings. The last couple times I've been in for service, I've seen other customers with wheel bearing problems, and our dealer is pretty small. At least, I heard them discussing the issue. I think mine is ok.. but it could be common. Then again, so is feathering and roar. Just something else to investigate of the tires dont fix it
