Ok I have just about had it with the paint chips on my hood. My front bumper is a complete loss and the hood looks like garbage so I was thinking that instead of respraying the hood I may just go with CF since I have a black coupe anyway.

Now my questions:

What are the differences between GTP and some of the other companies out there other than price or is the quality pretty much the same?

I assume that the hood is easy to install so correct me if im worng on that.

Also since my main problem is those damn paint chips is there anything I should know about rock damage regarding carbon fiber?

Lastly is there anyone in the Long Island area that has a CF hood? I really would like to see one in person before I get one if possible.

hey, just so you know... clear bra REALLY helps.

i have it on my car and it took a beating from cali to new york and now i'm in florida....
works great... but don't try to install yourself have a pro do it for ya...

I know I tossed the clear bra idea around a number of times but some of these chips are more than half way up the hood. I'm trying to figurte out other alternatives for myself and others. Thanx though,.
