Good coupe price?
Good coupe price?
I went to my local dealer few days ago and they have the last 2004 D.GRAPHITE/GRAPHITE MSRP$32,995.00 (just MT/LTH)
Good deal? Or shoud I just wait for 2005 release? Thanks

Trading in your sedan for a coupe?? Well, now that the dealership has been sold, I've been told that the new owners are planning to mark-up at least $3k above MSRP. So, I would buy before the new owners take over. Maybe you'll be able to negotiate a little off the price. Some people have. Check old West Forum posts. Good luck!
Re: Good coupe price?
Ah, found it...you may want to ask these guys how they negotiated off MSRP.

Re: Good coupe price?
Don't worry about some rumor that "new owners" are going to increase the prices of their cars. You always have the choice of buying from a dealer in another city or state. You probably already know that Grubbs in Texas will ship to your home.
Personally, I love the 04 Coupe, but if I already had the sedan like you do, I would wait until the 05's came out with the new interior.

Re: Good coupe price?
Seems to depend on location. Here in SoCal MSRP is usually pretty good, but if any dealer is charging above MSRP you can easily find one that isnt.

Re: Good coupe price?
i was lucky enough to get the nissan supplier discount. The dealership first said that they didnt honor the program but they would give me 500 off sticker. Then after i told them i was looking at gtos they gave me the discount. saved about 3000 bucks .

Anything else worth the wait other than just a new interior? How about the exterior? They should out by Oct/Nov and I've seen no pics of 2005 yet. Thanks

The only change that was confirmed by the GM from Grubbs Infiniti was the interior. Anything else you hear is just speculation at this time. The 2005 model will debut in New York in April, so we'll no more about any other changes. Don't expect any exterior changes since the model was just released for 2003.

Re: Good coupe price?
The only problem with living in Hawaii is that there is only one Infiniti dealer in the state. You can get something shipped in, but with the cost of shipping and delivery, the car may end up costing the same as if you had purchased it here. And you won't get the AAA membership if you order it outside of Hawaii, but I don't know how much that is worth. Just my thoughts

Re: Good coupe price?
Hawaii huh.... Take what you can get there! I think I'd be happy at MSRP in Hawaii. Damn.... I can just dream of such a combo, Hawaii and G35 coupe....

Re: Good coupe price?
Well, I thought the same thing about Santa Barbara, one dealer of each type for 100 miles. Plus lots of people with money who dont mind paying full price. But to my surprise, I got a better discount there then LA.
Los Angeles dealers or should I say car sales people are sooo blood thirsty for cash they know every trick in the book and are not afraid to use it. I had a check in my had for full price and they would not budge. The walking out thing didnt work.
But Ha, Ha, I got $1500 off MSRP by taking a wild chance and calling a dealer on my way out of town. I was in and out of there in less then 20 minuts and it was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. It was actually enjoyable, no pressure, car was waiting for me in the front, and no dealer games. So some times you just never know where the deals are. I thought that would be the last place.
Then again, if you dont get your car, at least you can spend your day hanging out at the Toilet Bowl near Hanauma Bay...how many of us have beaches like that!

Re: Good coupe price?
Yes, but LA still has to compete will main land dealers. There's nothing special about S.B. Hawaii is a completly different story...
