For instance, have the pads and rotors been changed on the car you're looking at? I would guess at 45k they have, but you never know. At a minimum, pads will run you $250 for all four (from one of the sponsors), and rotors anywhere from $125-$420/pc. for the fronts and more for the rears.

Just something to think about - I know a lot of people scrimp and save to make the down payment, but don't think about the other costs that come into play during ownership.
Thanks for the input! As I mentioned before, I am almost finished with college and do have some extra cash + a job to pay for any maintance work. I have already stated that I will only look at the G, if he drops the price down to 22k. The car has been on the ads for bout 3+ weeks now, so it isn't too much sought after at all in my perspective. The paint chip is near the sideskirts which is about the size of a quarter... the mile is high... and it doesn't have nav/and aero kit... which i can live without... but i reallly wanted the aero (i can always get Nismo ). Anyways, i'll update again. Thanks for all the info!

I will not penny pinch, but i'm just a lil worried spending this much money on a car with a decent amount of miles...

I think the value of the car is arond 21-22k... but who knows... on the market, its a little bit diverse, but speaking as an average... it might be worth around 23-24k...

This should be a pretty good guide for you... http://www.edmunds.com/used/2004/inf...tion=vdpresult

You should be able to buy it at a bit lower than private party price if the dealer is quite desperate to sell.
