Time Delay on Auto Seats???

Last night I was in my garage tinkering with stuff and needed to get into the backseat. I went to get into the back and the drivers seat didnt move forward. So I tried the passenger side and *crap!* the same thing. Thought the key had to be in, Nope not it. Car turned on but not started.. Nope still wont move forward. But it works fine when my buddies and I are going to and from lunch during work. WTH is going on??

Did you release the seat back so its leaning toward the steering wheel?

Was the door open on each side that you tried it on? They have to be open or the seats won't go fwd.

Both doors were not open at the same time but I did have the door open on the side I was climbing through.

Re: Time Delay on Auto Seats???

It doesn't have to be both at the same time, but if for example you wanted the pass seat to go fwd, the pass door would have to be open.

Crazy. Exactly what I was doing. Walked up to car, opened door, flipped seat forward, no automatic movement at all. Repeated for pass side and same results.
