Oil Plug Gasket Size

Would someone let me know what size oil plug gasket to use? Is it 12mm?

I called a few local auto part stores but none had a specifc answer. I found them online, but ordering a .50 item and paying $4-$6 for shipping is silly. I figure some local stores have the right size, but their computers are not telling them which is correct.

Any help is appreciated.

By the way, any thoughts on the Puralotor PureOne oil filter?

Thanks.

PureOne? based on the blackstone reports I've seen, it seemed like a good choice. I was worried about the increased oil pressure, but 350z's have a gauge and they said the PureOnes and Mobil filters dont change pressure. (from my350.com)

Buy the Fujimoto drain valve and you won't have to worry about it anymore. That was one of my reasons for getting it.

Thanks. I've since heard a lot of good things about the Mobil 1 and K&N. But, I need to change the oil this week, so for this go around I feel good about the PureOne.

Thanks. I saw somehting similar made by Fram, but I'm not a huge fan of Fram. I'll have to install such a valve in my next go round because I need ot change the oil this week. So, I still have to find the gasket size for now.

Fumoto valve is the way to go...
It's already paid for itself on my last oil change... accidently put the whole 5 quarts in instead of the 4.x amount indicated and overfiled... rather than opening the plub and hassling with draining all the oil and putting it back in.. with the fumoto you can turn it off when you feel you've drained enough.

plus it comes with the crush washer that will stay on there permanently...you'll never need to take off the plug again...EVER. .>=)

It wasn't me man but I do have one. You can get one from Grubb's. I got the one with the nipple and bought some clear tubing from Home Depot. You won't spill a drop.
