Does every coupe do this? When I lock the passenger side window from the passenger being able to roll it down, it locks the window from me rolling it down as well..In other cars it's always been that if I use the button to lock the passenger side window from being rolled down, I still had control of it...anyone notice this?

 

if mine and your's does then i am sure they all do.
it does suck though.

 

same thing happened in my 2002 maxima. im sure it's pretty standard.

Yep --- that's how it works, and it is insane. If you put on the lock, it locks everything, even the drivers window!.

When I inquired at the Dealer they actually claimed this is how all cars work!! This gives you an idea of how full of BS they are. I told them I guess all of the other cars I have owed for the last 30 years were working wrong!!

 

My 1996 Pathfinder doesn't do that. Locks all windows except driver side. I figure the only reason you'd lock the window is so your kids can't accidently lower it and fall out, doesn't make sense why the driver window would be locked.

 

Crazy logic! Also noticed lock switch does not have a light.
