I say go for it. I am planning on getting one this summer for a DD. But I am keeping my current coupe and going FI with it. Can't part with it... I love it too much.

 

I did it: trade-in my G35 (03 and 72K mikes) and get the Red G37S. I have to do it before my G35 go down in the value for trade-in. You should do it . I really sleepless since I have G37S for 2 1/2 weeks.

Do it! I traded in an 04 G Coupe. Incredible car, improved in every way.

 

G37 rocks, seriously considering trading my 07 for 1 and currently Infiniti is offering outstanding terms on 36-48 mo.

 

+1 on that!!!.. M3 ftw!... i was debating whether to get a used m3 or my '07 coupe, but couldn't justify spending 40k on a used m3 with hella miles on it =\. that's why i got my '07. (best bang for the buck!!)

i knew way ahead of time what the '08 coupes were going to look like and what the peformance #'s would be, but i chose the '07 G b/c it's the car i've always wanted since it came out... and now i have my dream car, and couldn't be happier... there will always be something better, but you gotta learn to be happy with what you got..

Hard logic to follow when you really think about it:

Your new G37 depreciated more on the day you drove it off the lot than your G35 would have depreciated in an entire year.

 

 

g37= 330hp and a sick *** interior. exterior is lacking some what, not sure on the front and rear end either but the creature features, horsepower and interior make me lean toward the 37. tough choice let me tell you.

 

i'm in the same boat. got my 07 G35 (premium 6MT) coupe back in december 2006 with VPP (38k OTD) and 6.0% apr..currently financing $470 a month with 15k down.

i knew the 08 coupes were going to be restyled and had a clue what they were going to look like. naturally, i would go for the newer model as the 07's were the last style year for the G35. but i needed a car at that time and couldn't wait a year for transportation/work so i went with the 07.

ever since the G37's were available, i've been contemplating hard whether i should trade my 07 in. money will always play a small role - not affordability but whether it's wise on a financial viewpoint to take the hit in the pocket.

i will be able to get VPP for the G37 as well, and with 3.8% for 60 mos., i'm thinking if i should do it? if i were to trade in for a G37, i would have it basically fully loaded rather than just premium. i've tried to weigh the two cars on many aspects. i've went back and forth on my decision many times. my friends told me don't waste the money, my girl said it'll be a stupid move. i'm really stuck on this ahhhhhhhhhhh!

the G37 exterior is alright to me..but what i really like about it is the interior. if the G35's had the G37's interior, i wouldn't think of trading it for any other car. performance wise, only thing better about the G37 is the VVEL, dual intake, and big brakes. the extra 30hp is negated by the extra weight so not really after it for the extra power. i don't know what i should do. my G35 is worth around 34k private at the moment. the G37 with VPP will probably run 41k. 7k in difference doesn't seem justifiable to me..

 

when you think of modding car, dont get any options - just overpriced, not as good as many after market suppliers, and a waste if you try to sell your infinitio parts to make up for the loss. if you do decide to go g37, mods are alos going to be more expensive as its first gen all over again. i would wait, unless you just like taking a hit. i got my financing at 1.9% and i would see if you can get them to do better than 3.8%

 

take a look on myg37.com, volk wants a g37 at SEMA and theyll give u a free set of rays wheels, springs and graphics for FREE. I would get one quick noone has buit on it, I can believe it yet.

 

well, some packages you will have to add. what aftermarket parts are there for the tech? navi can be done aftermarket. i wouldn't get aero because you're paying for some diffusers and a spoiler that runs 60% cheaper on ebay. RAS is kind of pointless, either you're a nub and lose control anyway..or you know how to recover with or without RAS.

i got premium for the little creature comforts, not for the ****ty blose since i would upgrade to a better system. sucks that it's all bundled in.
