In the rear deck speaker frame, there are no speakers since I have the stock sound system. However, I noticed that there is a foam-like insulator cover that is lined with plastic on the back. They are held in with these tiny plastic pins/clips. Anyone know what part this is or what it's called? I'm missing one of them.

Yeah, I'll post a pic of where it was when I get home. I left it in the trunk and the dealer threw it away when I brought it in for service. Basically it is something that is in place instead of the speakers....so kind of like a placeholder piece.

I'm guessing it might be used to reduce noise coming from the trunk, since I don't have the premium sound, so there are no speakers there.

 

Check out the oem catalog at http://infiniti-parts.com/ or similar site. Most times they have an exploded view of the parts so if you can get in the general area, you can probably ID it.
