I don't know what it is for everyone else but for me it is at 6800rpm. That's when I hit the max allowable rpm (53,000) on my Vortech supercharger.

Does anyone have a HP vs. RPM curve of our engines and the gear ratio's of our tranny for inputs?

the manual says
1 > 2 = 8 mph
2 > 3 = 16 mph
3 > 4 = 25 mph
4 > 5 = 30 mph
5 > 6 = 33 mph

If you have xcel, just do a gear to thrust analysis graph to visually see the optimal shift points
