Running from the law

So the other day, I'm driving home from a long crappy day at work ('04 G-Coupe). It was only ten minutes past 4PM so I decided to take the HOV back despite the fact that I was only riding one person. Low and behold, I fly by the fuzz just as hes getting back in his cruiser from pulling someone else over. We make eye contact and I immediately know that I'm totally f*cked. I look behind me and watch him squeel back onto the highway and light me up. Now not that I should be telling any of you this but for the purpose of justification, I just so happen to have a warrant out for my arrest. So, hence my abundant recklessness and absolute disregard for the law, I drop her into 4th and straight book it. I kept a constant pace of roughly 130 for about 10 miles. Needless to say, his lights quickly faded into the horizon as I pulled away and that was the last I saw of him. Now for the record, this was the only time I ever ran from the cops before this point and to tell the honest truth, despite the fact that it was irresponsible and reckless to say the least, that **** was one hell of a ride!!

Anwyays ya I just thought you guys might get a kick out of knowing that we drive a car that can smoke the **** out of a cop cruiser with relative ease...

You are lucky you didn't cause an accident and kill someone.

Regardless of whether or not there were other people in the HOV lane, there must have been some other cars around you at some point. You may not know it, but you risked their lives and your own. Assuming you value your life, hence running from the cop, endangering your own life wasn't a smart move either. Sure, you got away and no one was hurt - but that's not the point.

speeding @ 130mph + running from the cops = locked thread
