I am debating on whether to get the Iforged (Classics or Essen) or the Sevas s-55 in black. I kind of ruled out the Iforged due to the weight factor (28-29lbs a wheel w/out tires) Sevas were 24lbs fronts 28lbs rear for 20". These are alot heavier than OEM 19"s which are 19-22 lbs. Are there any wheels that look like either the Iforged or Sevas that weigh less? I like the Big lips on both the wheels and capability to clear BBK's

you are comparing a camry to a g. IForged wheels are forged and very high end when it comes to after market wheels. Sevas are chinese casts that have a tendency of cracking under pressure.

Althought I do agree with you about iForged & Sevas comparisons, you can't say Sevas has a tendency to crack under pressure when its only happend a few times.

i was gonna add that its rare, but still.... whens the last time an iforged did that? If 1 seva wheel cracks in half thats enough for me to never get them.

I just brought my iForged wheels to get fixed up and repowdercoated and repolished. I originally brought them in because i had a few curbs on them that i wanted to fix. The day before I was planning to go get them fixed i was driving on the highway, it was pitch black, i was going about 70. All of a sudden i realize the lane merged but i didnt swerve on time. Gues what...... I hit the curb goin 70. I could have sworn my tire was blown and rim had to be cracked, bent, all of the above. As soon as i could i got out to check it out and guess what. The wheel did get bent a little, on the outside. No one i asked noticed, just me. I was shocked that at 70mph thats the only thing that happened. So just to help out, they are very good wheels and very strong. iForged that is. Price will also be a bit different between the 2.

another rim i am leaning towards are the Maya STM in Black w/ polished lip. Anyone know how much they weigh? I know they are discontinued but they look frikkin badass

how much did it cost you to get repolished ect. I think i will be doing that to my rims over winter time.

Also you should really just consider rims in the smae price range. With that said go with the Sevas

To do all the work to my whels I am deff looking at over 1000. To repowdercoat them it was 400. Repolish was 400. But he couldnt give me a finall price because to fix them, the cost depends on how bad the damage is. But polishing was 400. And these guys are sick. He will make a polished wheel look like chrome. I will get them back this week. Place is SL Metals in Long Island.

If anyone knows anybody that is selling their Maya STM's in Black let me know im interested in getting a set for the G coupe

I would go with I-forged, Maya aka Traffic Stars, Jlines, HRE or whatever fits your pocket book

I had a set of S-55's that cracked by hitting a rock. I have hit much larger with other wheels with way less damage. There is a reason they are light and it comes at the price of strength. iForged FTW...

If I were to do that with my S-55's they would end up in 5 parts...

I called several shops in the SFV that specialize in polishing and got the same
answer from all three $125 per wheel to cleanup/polish/reclear. My son-in-
law just had a set polished/recleared for $115 ea. but the quality wasn't what I expect. You could still see buffer marks on the spokes....not a good
high quality job!

Two cases? I myself have seen 5 on the forums (not only g35driver.com) and that is enough for me to not want sevas
