possible to add auto lights and diming mirror?

Hi, I just got my car but the color I wanted was not available in a premium package and I really wanted the auto headlights and diming mirrors (I'm just so used to them now). Is it possible to add these features to a non premium car? Can I just buy the mirror and power it up or is there more to it then that.

As far as the auto lights, It seems like it's pretty well integrated into the body ecu, so that may not be an easy upgrade, if it can't be done do you know of any aftermarket auto headlight kits out there?

Thanks

I'm in the same boat. The auto lights may be more hassle than it's worth. As for the Homelink® Universal Transceiver/dimming mirror I would assume it would be an easy swap. I'll ask a dealer tomorrow.

Yes, I am fishing up old threads today...sorry.

Can anyone confirm the suggestion that all cars are prewired for the auto-dimming mirrors and all you have to do is swap out the mirror, pull the wire out of the headliner and attach it?

Thanks to you knowledgeable souls!

You have to PM G35lips, he had been trying to do that swap for the longest time, I don't know if he succeeded but he can give you more details about it.
