How I went up against the G and won (Pics now on page 2)

Yeah sorry for this being my first post. But I've been trolling on this site for over a year. Its been so helpful for me. I use to get on here even when I didn't think a G would be in my immediate future.

So last week I finally decided its time to start looking for one. My current piece of crap Galant, heat stopped working (not good in 30 degree temps). Also as is with alot of black ones the paint was oxidizing (aka looks ashy lol). So I starting looking around at a couple I found. For the record I wanted a 06+ Athens Blue Manual.

First one I found was the right color but was basically a base model G. It was nice but not what I wanted. The second one wasn't the color I wanted so I moved on. Finally the third one was the color I wanted, also only had 9K on it. Only thing it didn't have was Nav and a spoiler. No biggie I thought and started negotiating the price. After about half an hour of back and forth we agree on a price. But I had the wife and baby with me and the baby was getting cranky. So we decided that we would go, and they could run the financing and would deliver the car that night.

I went home so excited. I would finally have the car I've wanted for five years. And was the color I wanted and low mileage. Well heres the tragic part. They call me half an hour later starting off the convo saying "Were really sorry". Now I thought this meant I didn't get financed. Nope the a**hat of a valet WRECKED the car when he was filling it up. So there went my beautiful G (they said it needed frame work).

Sorry for being so long winded just wanted to explain the situation. There is ray of sunlight though all these murky clouds lol. Friday night I get home from a long day of work. Search autotrader and lo and behold the first listing I see is a '06 G35 Athens Blue w/Nav and premium package with only 12K.

Long story short I am now a proud owner of a New Blue G. Only thing is I'm in maryland and the car is in New Jersey (Don't mind more time to drive the G) Can't tell you how happy I am. Pics to come Monday. Thank you for this site it has been a great help to me. I won't be such a stanger now .

You made the right choice!

I just want to warn you... there are a lot of G-haters (because they're jealous) out there... post pic of your new baby G asap.

Congrats on your AB G. I was just reminiscing yesterday, of the times I would search everyday on Autotrader for months until I finally found my AB coupe. Damm I love my car. Enjoy your car.
